[CHARACTER’S NAME:] Akiko Tokuma
[STATUS:] High School Student, princess of the Saphyrus Clan of Weredragons

[GENERAL APPEARANCE:]
Devastatingly beautiful with a body to die for. Her great attractiveness seems to distract people enough so that they don't notice her ever-present cynical expression: her mouth is almost always twisted into a cynical smirk, and she has a sort of mocking gleam in her sapphire-colored eyes. Her hair is sky-blue and tied into a long ponytail that falls to just above her knees. Height: 5' 7" Weight: 118 lbs. (See also General Clothing for other notes on her appearance.)

[GENERAL CLOTHING:]
In her normal form, she wears a standard schoolgirl uniform and a ring which appears to be carved from a single sapphire set with a smoky gray gem. When she changes, a golden slit appears in the gem, giving it the appearance of a reptilian eye. This ring is called a Dragon's Eye and marks Akiko as heir to the royal Saphyrus line.

However, she also has her "battle-form", halfway between human and dragon. Her clothing disappears and her skin is covered by crystalline blue scales, covering her up to her throat and her wrists. Two large dragonwings also appear from her back. Transforming is rather simple; she simply concentrates and the change occurs instantly AS LONG AS SHE'S WEARING HER DRAGON'S EYE. That's one of the ring's powers (none of which are very spectacular; I'll bring them up later assuming they become important). If NOT wearing the Eye, her transformation takes about three minutes to complete, with one additional problem: Akiko's perception of time is distorted while changing without the Eye. The transformation _seems_ instant but really takes the aforementioned three minutes. Akiko is aware of this weakness and does her best to compensate (i.e. tries to wear the Eye whenever possible). She ONLY changes when faced with serious combat or on a mission of some kind.

The battleform is her preferred form for combat, as it makes her a _much_ more effective combatant (and her scales are a highly effective form of armor) but she does have her weaknesses. First off, the membrane of her wings can be ripped and torn, effectively crippling her ability to fly until she can be healed. Second, while her telekinetic powers are greater in battleform, she can still drain herself quickly if she tries to do too much at once. Her effective weight limit (without concentrating her powers first) is two tons. Should she try to lift/carry more than that, the excess expenditure of power will begin to tax her. After a minute of excess expenditure, she will be near exhaustion and will do her utmost to release the object and flee battle to recover her strength. If for some reason she pushes it to two minutes, her strength will be completely depleted and she'll lapse into unconscious sleep for about an hour while her mind's energy restores itself.

Note: Conventional weaponry (knives, swords, low-caliber firearms) don't do much to Akiko in battleform. Magical weapons and spells hit her pretty well, although physical effects like fireballs may have their damage mitigated somewhat. Heavier weapons can also harm her. Akiko relies on her telekinesis and flight abilities to avoid harm, but she can't stop everything, obviously.

[WEAPONRY:]
Carries none beyond what her battle-form allows her. She can slash people with the sharp-edged scales on her wings.

[POWERS/SKILLS:]
In normal form, Akiko is more or less a normal teenager with great intelligence and an uncanny grasp of fighting tactics (she is not trained in any martial arts but can brawl very well). Her slim body leads some to believe that she isn't a great fighter, and she tries to maintain this illusion while in her normal form. She also possesses the psychic power of telekinesis. In her human form, her telekinetic power allows her to lift her own body weight plus a hundred pounds.

In battle-form, Akiko's true powers are evident. She is much stronger and faster, she can fly, and gains the power to fire shattering sonic blasts which not only inflict great damage but can deafen their targets (it IS an attack of pure sound, after all). Additionally, her telekinetic powers are greatly enhanced: with about five minutes of effort, she can (safely) pick up an 18-wheel truck (trailer included) and hurl it. With concentration, she can lift even heavier objects: the longer she concentrates, the more weight she can lift. (About 6 hours of concentration and she could pick up a small building; 12 hours a small apartment complex; after a day or so of non-stop meditation and focus she could pick up a skyscraper.) However, her practical limit for telekinetically lifting/hurling objects in combat (i.e. instantly) is, as said before, two tons. Nonetheless, attacking with such heavy objects tends to wear her out quite quickly so Akiko tries to stick with smaller materials (prefers blowing out walls with her sonic attack or a telekinetic strike and then hurling the debris at her target).

[ATTITUDE:]
Akiko is Princess of the Saphyrus Tribe of the Ryuu (weredragons). The Saphyrus Ryuu are of the Crystalline Sept of the Ryuu, the weredragons of Sapphire. However, she doesn't take that very seriously. She is quite cynical about EVERYTHING. Nothing is sacred to her, and in her eyes, everyone around her is nothing more than a target. Her biggest joy in life is picking people apart, usually with her biting tongue, but occasionally in physical combat if she's pissed off or if she receives a challenge (see below). Her only emotional "soft spot" is her boyfriend, Satoshi (future CAPOW character, perhaps?), to whom she is absolutely devoted.

[REACTIONS TO:]

{A GREETING:}
(from a friend:) "Konnichi wa", but often follows it up with an embarrassing question
(from a stranger:) "Konnichi wa" followed by "What do you want?" or something belittling

{A CHALLENGE:} "It's you funeral.", and with a shrug, proceeds to knock her enemy straight on his ass
(from a formidable enemy:) With a smirk on her face, "You think you're impressive?" and reacts in the same way as she would to a normal challenge.
(from a FAR more powerful enemy:) "I'm outta here. Work your problems out with someone else." (Hey, she's not afraid of anything but she knows when to cut her losses!)

{A PASS:}
(from any guy:) "I'm taken, you (insert derogatory word here)", and occasionally reacts as to a challenge (if the guy is REALLY beneath her; of course, she'd probably consider Eric Gen beneath her).
(from a girl:) "Sorry, I have a BOYFRIEND. But I know a girl named Megumi who may be interested...."
