[CHARACTER'S NAME:] Kimiko Souichi
[ALIASES:] Onee-sama (by Ahlen)
[AGE:] 24
[STATUS:] Field operative (i.e. spy/agent) for Chobetsu (Japanese secret service)

[GENERAL APPEARANCE:]
5'9", slim, very fit. Has long reddish-brown hair parted down the middle and tied up at the back in a ponytail. She has big brown eyes but they are mostly cast in a sheepish glance. When drunk, her face lights up like last year's Christmas tree.

[GENERAL CLOTHING:]
Loose shirts that hide her figure and sometimes accompanied by a tie (semi-required attire for all agents). She wears loose fitting jeans or pants most of the time to give her legs flexibility. Almost never caught in a tight skirt.

[WEAPONRY:]
Following the code of "Jackie Chan Martial Arts" anything in the nearby vicinity can become a potential weapon (within reason). Kimiko carries a standard issue Beretta 92 Combat handgun which she uses with good accuracy and ease.

Kimiko also has a special pair of glasses. To the observer, they look like an ordinary pair of Ray-bans. But these glasses have a one-way uplink to a communications-satellite which Kimiko can use to talk with agents at the Chobetsu HQ. A woman code-named "Central" usually responds to Kimiko's verbal requests and data is displayed on the inside of the lens. The glasses are very fragile but easily replaced. This is the only "spy-gadget" Kimiko normally carries with her.

[POWERS/SKILLS:]
Kimiko is a top martial artist. During her college years, she once ranked amoung the top International Amateurs. What she lacks in raw power and strength, she makes up for in agility and speed. Kimiko also has basic agent skills but her bomb defusal is deplorable. She's also comfortable with a computer but don't expect her to hack into systems without assistance.

[WEAKNESSES:]
Kimiko's weakness is that she's not special. She doesn't have extraordinary strength or superhuman speed. She's not super smart. Her skills are about as high as any normal human being could achieve without biological, technological or magical enhancements. Kimiko can't cast any magic, she normally doesn't have access to sci-fi weaponry, and she doesn't have any powers like being telepathic, telekinetic, affinity with machines, etc.

Kimiko has a low alcohol tolerance and can become drunk quite easily.

[ATTITUDE:]
No-nonsense type of person. Cautious and cool-headed, she always gives the mission first priority. Generally avoids men who drool after her and think she's an easy target for a good time. However, she has a low intolerance to alcohol. After a few drinks, Kimiko's hidden affections for men may surface quite uncontrollably. Kimiko is a quick thinker and can get herself out of a lot of trouble. Because she's a top agent, Kimiko has no qualms about killing people but that doesn't mean she enjoys it. Career has been a big priority in Kimiko's life, leaving very little for personal or romantic endeavors. However, Kimiko is a very dependable and trustworthy friend.

[REACTIONS TO:]

{A GREETING:}
[friend] "Hey! What's up?!"
[stranger] "Hello." *short brief nod*

{A CHALLENGE:}
[lesser skilled opponent] "I just finished watching a Jackie Chan movie and I'm feeling hyper-active!"
[greater skilled opponent] "I'm ready!"

{AN ATTACK:} Fists raised, legs spread apart in attack stance, unmoving to invite the opponent to try the first hit

{A PASS:}
(sober) "Do you want a beating or something?" *serious look*
(drunk)
[cute guy] "Whoohoo! 'Nee-chan wants to have a talk with you!"
[average guy] "I'm probably drunk but damn you look good!"

[BACKGROUND:]
Kimiko was born in Tokyo and after high school, attended university in the United States. Her major in political science and history and top competition in martial arts attracted the CIA's attention. After training her as a field agent, she transferred over to Chobetsu (Japanese secret service) to curb the recent cultist attacks in Tokyo. During a mission, Kimiko lost her partner Yushido Hakaru and lover, whose death she blamed herself. Following that, she refused to accept the advances of other men, but deep down she really needs the company.

Kimiko has an alternate reality brother named Ahlen who now lives at the Shin Muchitsujo Shrine in St. John's Park. In fact, Ahlen's original sister, Kimiko once travelled to earth in the Feudal era. There, she met a man and they bore a child. That Kimiko had to leave and the man took the Souichi name for his own. Over the centuries, the Souichi family flourished until this Kimiko was born, the first girl to be the eldest of the Souichi family. So, she and Ahlen are related by centuries of time and dimensional gap.

Kimiko lives in the "Apartment Complex Without a Name" but is often seen hanging out at the bar, working on her laptop and sipping green tea. Kimiko's missions vary with the objectives. She's done everything to take down gangs and criminals, to infiltrating US military ships for espionage purposes.

[ANIME INFLUENCES:]

NPCs:

Elyssa Au Yeung
A Chinese girl who works at the Lurker's Retreat part-time as a waitress while studying electronics at Tokyo International College. She's 5'5" and is about 18 years old. She's usually seen carrying a Minidisc player clipped to her belt and earphones hanging on her neck (when she's not listening to music). She's a very outgoing and cheerful person.

Ahlen Souichi
A swordsman from another world where history is somewhat reversed. He's a good-looking young man, not overly handsome. A scar runs across his left cheek. Ahlen is an excellent swordsman, and has only been beat by Dachend. Ahlen is the owner of the magical sword, Mizuno Heiwa, which means 'Harmony of Water'. The blade is exceptionally sharp. Ahlen once discovered a spirit living inside the sword that helped him only when he was close to death in combat. Ahlen is Lyta's boyfriend and very much in love with her. The two share a bond similar to telepathy. They usually know what the other is thinking with just mere facial gestures. Ahlen isn't very active these days, having settled down with Lyta at the shrine. He finds himself mostly upkeeping the place.

Lyta Fireheart
A sorceress from an alternate Slayers universe, she is the daughter of Lina Inverse and Gourry Gabriev. She inherits her mother's looks, except taller and more slender, and highlights of blond from her father's side. She also has her mother's magic, downgraded a lot to just shamanism without spirit spells, and her father's sword skills, but not as good as Ahlen. She's basically a bit of both in terms of magic and swordsmanship, but excelling in neither. Lyta has a fiery temper like her mother, but a lot of compassion and caring like her father. She is in love with Ahlen and returns that love greatly. Lyta has also been given the title 'Priestess of Chaos' from the Lord of Nightmares and inherits the shrine atop the hill in St. John's Park. She called it the Shin Muchitsujo shrine (new Chaos Shrine) in honour of the LoN. Lyta also uses the shrine to grow flowers to sell to visitors.

Denson
Denson is a very big man. He's 225 lbs of pure muscle, over 6 feet tall (I think 6'4"?) and about 35 years old. He sports a crew cut and wears a big designer suit. Denson is an out-of-work bodyguard. Rumors had it Denson was last seen protecting some big drug lord and at one time he was working for some idol stars. Denson isn't bound by any moral obligations, so he worked for whoever paid him. Denson has a very serious look about him, accompanied by a deep, rumbling voice. However, he's been known to make dry, almost sarcastic comments if the mood suits it. Inside, he's actually a very nice person. Skill wise, he can brawl and is pretty good at firearms cuz of his background. But, currently he does not carry any weapons. Anime influence: Gort from Nadesico.

Clay Grandview
Clay is a retired bounty-hunter. He's actually pretty young, mid 20's, it's just that he's made a lot of money collecting bounties that he's decided to leave the game while he was able to. Clay has messy brown-red hair. He wears a brown trenchcoat, work pants and leather boots. Clay carries a modified Heckler & Koch .45 Mark 23 with extended barrel he calls 'Clarise' (don't ask me about the gun, I don't know anything about guns and it's not going to matter as you read on). Clay is very fast, both in terms of gunfire and just physical movement. Clay's almost the opposite of Denson. He's got a self-righteous smirk on his face, always joking and cussing (not as bad as Dacend but close), flirting with the women and being a general ass. Being retired means Clay doesn't have to put his life on the line for anything (except himself) so don't expect him to be much help in terms of a fight. Anime influence: Gene Starwind of Outlaw Star.

Suzumi Mikage
Suzumi is in her late teens, has short brown hair that is parted to her right and hangs straight. Suzumi is what you would consider those cute, pretty girls that guys would go for. Suzumi's parents were very rich. They were the founders of some huge multinational corporation. However, they died in a car accident, leaving all their riches to Suzumi. As a result, Suzumi just bides her time until she reaches a certain age and can legally take over the company. Suzumi doesn't attend school nor does she have any inclination to. She has access to most of her parents' wealth so she doesn't have to find work. Suzumi's personality is very outgoing and playful. She puts up with Clay's flirtatious attitude only because she likes the attention. Suzumi has no fighting abilities. Anime Influence: any cute anime girl, plus the first and last name should be familiar to Yuu Watase fans.
